My journey at Living Waters began over 23 years ago, when I started as an Educator. Over the years, I have been blessed to grow alongside this incredible ministry, eventually stepping into the role of Director. I hold both my Early Childhood Education Certificate and Diploma, which have helped equip me to lead with a deep understanding of child development and program quality.
My passion for working with children started at a young age. Growing up, I faithfully served in the nursery and children's programs at my church, Hampton Baptist, where I continue to be active. I also spent many years babysitting and have always known that God was calling me to a ministry focused on children and families.
I became a Christian at the age of 7 and was baptized when I was 12. My faith has been the foundation of my life and my work. I see Living Waters not just as a childcare centre, but as a ministry — a place where children, families, and staff can feel God’s love and care in everything we do. It is my prayer that anyone who steps through our doors will experience a welcoming environment and see Christ reflected in our actions.
My favorite Bible verses are 2 Timothy 3:14-15 and Isaiah 43:5, which remind me to stand firm in my faith and trust in God’s presence. My favorite quote is simple yet powerful: “Make good choices.”
Outside of work, I live in Hampton and enjoy being an active part of both my church family and community. I love going on adventures with my family, friends, and my pup, Josie — whether it’s traveling, exploring new places, or simply enjoying the outdoors in every season.
