The appearance of Jesus in the ancient world was timely. Like today, earth was a place of great brokenness: war, famine, poverty, and disregard for human life. The world of the past, present, and future was in need of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration.

Jesus entered history to make things right by loving all people with truth, grace, and the sacrifice of his life. Jesus, God incarnate, laid down his life so that we could live in freedom. Now that’s a good news story!
